Too many times we doubt our own identity. Instead of aligning with our core we try to be more like others. Whether I’m expressing myself through an instrumental or vocal song I allow the song to tell me what it needs. Once the inspiration is captured then the crafting begins.
MIXES - full of clarity and presence.
My focus is two-fold when mixing: 1) Create a live-sounding mix. Make the listener feel as though they are in the room with the artist/band. 2) Mix with dimension. Three-dimensional mixes strategically placing instruments, vocals and sounds to engulf the listener in the song, in the emotion of what’s going on.
PRODUCTIONS - tailored for the artist.
The days of predetermined tracks are over. No more dusting off productions to see if a vocal can be written to fit what’s there. Every artist and every song has a purpose and a voice to be heard. After creating the safest environment possible I then focus on capturing the essence of everything needed to communicate the song properly.
